Free Watercolor Dog Painting Course
ATTN: Older watercolor learners who are sick of the standard advice to “just practice more!”
This FREE beginner tutorial will show you a new method to learn watercolors that makes it so much easier to see progress.
The course includes a printable line-drawing sketch and reference photo so it's easy to start painting along.
Learn step-by-step:
Sketch
We start by sketching the Pomeranian profile. This can be done freehand OR using the traceable line-drawing sketch (included as a download).
Base layers
Using the wet-on-wet technique, we'll paint a soft brown base wash on the head and body.
Face and eyes
Then, we add the nose, eyes, and mouth, creating an adorable and lively expression.
Fur details
Finally, we paint fine layers of fur texture using a gentle brushing technique to add contrast and give the painting a realistic look.
Hi, I'm Emily
Nothing is more frustrating than spending tons of time working on a painting… only to have it not turn out.
What I found is that the traditional way of learning watercolor is overcomplicated and promotes “practice” over sustainability and enjoyment.
Most of my watercolor students are older adults who’ve been able to start painting fun things in days not months or years. How? Simply by adopting the methods I’ll teach you in this free class.
