We start by sketching the horse's profile. This can be done freehand OR using the traceable line-drawing sketch (included as a download).
Base layers
Mixing just 2 colors, we paint the deep brown tones for the body and head.
Mane and edges
Then, profile details are added to fill out the body and bring it to life.
Final details
Finally, we add the eyes, nose, and finer details to complete the project.
